Future Fantastic: Art, AI and climate, brought alive

Future Fantastic was India's first AI art festival on climate change, bringing together artists from around the world through installations, workshops and lectures. Staged in Bengaluru, a city where technology and the arts sit side by side, it needed to speak to both worlds. The core graphic idea was the cross-stitch symbol, rendered digitally: a handcraft motif reborn as pixels, signifying art and technology coming together in the same space, and people from across the world meeting at the same point. I carried this visual language across the identity and the festival graphics, adding bold type and animation to build buzz around the theme. The website stayed clear and useful, with schedules and venues indexed so a diverse crowd could easily find their way around two weekends at Ranga Shankara and Bangalore International Centre.
