Arogya City: Challenge Accepted: a healthier Bangalore
Arogya World, with Rotary and B-PAC, set out to make Bangalore India's first Arogya City, a city working to prevent diabetes, hypertension and other non-communicable diseases. Decades in the sector had taught the founders that change begins when city leaders are enrolled and then mobilise citizens. The campaign needed an identity that could rally leaders to act, not just to endorse. I designed the visual identity around the idea of a city's health: a heart with Bangalore's own landscape nestled within it. The mark flexes to feature people and places, and extended across posters, standees, flags, tote bags, t-shirts and notebooks. Alongside the campaign's call to action, "Challenge Accepted," it gave leaders from government, sport and industry something to proudly stand behind at the November 2022 launch.
