For water: Collective action for India's water crisis
India's water crisis can't be solved by one organisation alone, so ForWater was created as a platform where the people and groups working in the sector can share ideas, best practices and data. Much of that work reaches people on the ground, so the visuals had to speak to rural India as well as to professionals. I created illustrations inspired by Indian folk art, mainly Gond art, with its rhythmic patterns and deep connection to nature, and a familiar visual language for many communities. Used in educational leaflets and awareness workshops, they make a complex subject easier to understand and help the message of water conservation land with the people it matters to most.
